The challenge

This brief called for two things at once: the atmosphere of a party and clear evidence of quality. Paradox Productions performs at weddings, corporate functions and private parties in Portland, Bend and elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest, and a regional wedding magazine has named it Portland's top DJ.

The new site needed to feel like a night out while keeping that award, a very large volume of positive reviews and the separate service lines easy to see, with one simple way to ask whether a date is free.

Our approach

The homepage piles up evidence in a set order. Inside the hero, the award badge shares space with just one button, for checking dates, then visitors choose between wedding, corporate and party entertainment, and a large block of customer reviews finishes the argument.

The palette is near-black with serif headings in a soft champagne gold, and the hero shows a crowded dance floor in full swing. The result reads like a venue late at night instead of a sales leaflet.

The reviews run as a long, page-by-page feed where every five-star rating carries its date. We also added a rotating band of corporate client logos, photo booth pages, and music sections for mixes and popular dance tracks. Small screens keep the badge and the date checker visible without scrolling, while the review grid turns into one swipeable card at a time.

The results

Visitors get the party mood from the design and still see the proof: the award, the review feed and working forms for quotes and date checks. The footer names every area served, including Seattle, Eugene, Medford, Idaho, San Francisco and the Oregon Coast.
