M and R Shine

The challenge

M and R Shine looks after hoods, ducts and cooking equipment in restaurant kitchens around Winnipeg. The owners who hire it share one big worry: a fire or health inspector finding a problem.

The site had to answer that fear head on and show evidence rather than promises. A busy restaurateur will not read long paragraphs, so the proof needed to be visual, with a quote request close by whenever they felt ready.

Our approach

Photos lead the argument. Directly under a hero set in a stainless steel kitchen that talks about passing inspections, a blue gradient bar of icons links to the core cleaning services, and the before and after gallery comes ahead of any service description.

Every image is from a real job. Split frames place a grease-coated duct beside the same metal after cleaning, framed by bands that fade from blue to cyan. We laid out the services as a checklist covering hood cleaning, degreasing, equipment and floors, and gas lines and stainless back walls. A section on what clients can expect explains the recurring maintenance plans, and a band offers a free estimate. The build also includes a blog and a short quote form in the footer. Phone screens show the icons as a stacked list that is easy to tap, while every comparison photo expands to the full width.

The results

A restaurant owner can now see the difference cleaning makes before reading any service copy. Getting an estimate is simple too, because the quote form sits in the footer beside the company's Winnipeg address, and each maintenance plan is explained in plain terms alongside the gallery.
