The challenge
Finding an arcade inside a shopping centre is not always easy, especially one that sits upstairs. Game Lab Waldorf needed a website that works like a signpost as much as a menu, telling people exactly which floor and which neighbouring shop to look for.
The owners also had several goals for one page: bring in casual players, sell memberships and fill party slots. With three separate brands under one roof, a long list of play options and hours that shift with the seasons, the challenge was keeping all of it easy to follow.
Our approach
Directions come first: mall, level and the store opposite. Right after, the arcade, the claw machine area and the party brand sit in a row of cards, each listing its own play options, from a short weekday session up to a day pass with full access. Private hire of the whole venue has its own section, pairing a flyer with a checklist of inclusions.
The styling is as loud as the venue: a glowing atom logo, a bright blue band scattered with claw and rocket sketches, a yellow ticker that scrolls, and a maze pattern behind the cards for parties and social links.
Party packages sit in tabs. Seasonal opening times appear in a swipeable flyer frame, booking buttons pass visitors to the venue's own checkout, and a Google map marks the mall. On phones, the top photo is cropped so the location wording stays readable.
The results
Much of the information a front desk would normally give out now lives on the site. Guests can check summer and cooler-season opening times, see prize pricing for the claw machines, read about renting the whole arcade and even apply for a job. Party bookings move on to checkout, and the map removes any guesswork about where the arcade sits in the mall.
