The challenge
Choosing an expert witness for a construction dispute is a high-stakes decision for a lawyer, and the client's own opening message makes that point. Paul Gaston Consulting needed a site that lets attorneys confirm long experience in both commercial and residential building without digging.
That meant presenting licenses, training and project history in a form counsel can scan and verify, and explaining how an engagement begins. The design also had to feel like a professional record of qualifications rather than a marketing brochure.
Our approach
We arranged the qualifications in the order lawyers vet an expert. Licenses and certifications lead, and even the current general contractor license number for the city is shown. Experience follows in three checklist columns covering role, sector and type of project, and then a short process explains the route from a free consultation to a retainer.
The palette is navy and cream, with scaffolding silhouetted against the sky in the opening image. The expert's own photo, in his introduction, is the one portrait shown, which keeps the tone closer to a professional dossier than a sales pitch.
Our team gave renovation, engineering and construction witness work their own service pages, and built a certification grid spanning OSHA and aerial lift courses as well as scaffold and firestopping training. Offers of a free consultation appear at each break between sections. On phones the checklist columns merge into a single list that reads in order.
The results
Paul Gaston Consulting now publishes its license number openly and sets out each stage of an engagement, from consultation and service agreement through retainer payment to the start of work. An accessibility toolbar is available across the site. Attorneys can check credentials and reach out for a free consultation at each section break.
