Kingsville Laundromat

The challenge

Kingsville Laundromat sits at the same address as a neighbouring car wash, so it was easy for the business to get lost in that shadow. It needed a clear identity of its own online.

There was also more to sell than washing machines. Alongside long daily laundry hours, the business provides refills of purified drinking water, plus ice and propane, at any hour, yet plenty of people nearby had no idea those extras were there. The website had to introduce all of it without confusing anyone.

Our approach

We treated each part of the business as its own lane. A row of photo cards splits laundry, water and ice, and propane, and a tabbed section lets visitors dig into the details. A slim bar at the top of every page keeps the street address and opening hours in view.

Visually, it is quieter than the vivid blue design of its sister business. Navy and white frame the handwritten-style logo, soap-bubble textures decorate each card heading, and real photos of the machine rows are cropped into circles.

We also built refill price cards, a simple step-by-step guide to refilling your own bottle, review cards from Google, and a blog with posts on laundry routines. Phone users are greeted first by a slide promoting clean refill water, and the card rows collapse into one column below it.

The results

What used to read as a place to wash clothes now presents itself as a stop for several everyday needs. Local customers can check hours, see what a water refill costs and learn that ice and propane are available before they leave home.
