The challenge

Buying bullion online asks a lot of trust. Trubees Vault, a Cincinnati dealer in physical gold and silver, wanted its web store to feel as dependable as a trip to a local coin shop, with genuine stock and current prices on show.

The business works in both directions: it sells metal and it also buys metal from the public. Both of those paths needed to be clear before a visitor scrolled, and the store had to stay simple for buyers who already know the exact item they want.

Our approach

Gold, silver, copper and platinum form the main menu, so shoppers choose a metal straight away. A sell badge next to the cart gives people who want to cash in their metal an equally visible route.

The design places the catalog between a banner of brushed silver bars and one of gold ingots. Product cards are kept white and uncluttered, so the listing reads like a dealer's price sheet rather than an advert.

We built the catalog in WooCommerce with the dealer's real range of rounds and bars, added product search, set up customer accounts where buyers can see past orders, and created an inquiry form for people selling metal. At every screen width the price stays directly under each product name, and the search box in the header remains easy to reach, since bullion buyers usually arrive looking for a specific piece.

The results

Trubees Vault opened with both sides of its trade working online: customers can buy from the catalog or ask about selling their own metal. Shoppers also see the store's Google rating in an embedded panel with a button for leaving a review, and the footer shows which payment methods are accepted. Returning buyers can log in to check their order history.
