Thirty-eight people working on the same number.

Founded in Portland in 2015, now in two cities and eight disciplines — structured as pods rather than departments, so nobody can point at another vendor when a figure moves the wrong way.

The agency

We're a thirty-eight-person agency built to work like your in-house growth team — designers, engineers and media buyers sharing one dashboard, one Slack channel, and one definition of success: your revenue.

Founded in 2015, WeDominators runs on pods rather than queues — four to six people who own your account end to end. No account-manager relay races, no juniors learning on your budget. The people in the pitch are the people doing the work.

We stayed integrated on purpose. Splitting design, build and media across three vendors is how a conversion problem becomes an argument about attribution. One team removes the argument, and removes the excuse.

How we work

Six rules we do not bend.

Most of these cost us money in the short term. All of them are why the retention figure above is what it is.

Structure

One pod, one backlog

Four to six people own your account end to end — the designer who drew the template sits in the same review as the buyer bidding on it. No account-manager relay, no handoff between agencies.

  • 4–6 per pod
  • One backlog
  • Fortnightly review
  • Named owners
Method

Written before we start

Week one produces a thesis with the arithmetic shown: target CAC, payback window, contribution per order. If the maths does not hold we say so before you sign, not at month four.

  • Channel teardown
  • Written thesis
  • Forecast
  • Go / no-go
Ownership

Everything is yours from day one

Repositories in your organisation, ad accounts under your business manager, perpetual licences on every plugin and design file. Nothing expires when the engagement does.

  • Your repos
  • Your ad accounts
  • Perpetual licences
  • Documented handover
Billing

Media is billed at cost

No percentage of spend, ever. Media runs on your own accounts and you pay the platforms directly. A percentage model rewards a bigger budget, not a better one.

  • Fee only
  • Spend at cost
  • No markups
  • No rebates
Honesty

We publish what went wrong

Every case study on this site has a section documenting the changes we shipped and then reversed. A record that only contains wins is marketing, not evidence.

  • Reversals published
  • Medians not best case
  • Baselines captured
  • Client-verified
Fit

We turn down about a third

Roughly one enquiry in three gets a written reason why we are not the right answer — wrong stage, wrong platform, or a budget the maths will not support. Usually with a referral attached.

  • Written rationale
  • Referrals given
  • No hard sell
  • Platform-agnostic

The people

Whoever pitches is whoever builds.

Eight of the thirty-eight. The rest are on the case studies, whether or not their names are.

Eleven years

How the agency got its shape.

Not a growth story. A list of the structural decisions that changed how the work actually runs.

2015
Founded in Portland

Two people, one WordPress client, and a spare room above a bike shop.

2017
Paid and organic under one roof

Our first full-time media buyer joined, and we stopped referring paid work out.

2019
Amsterdam studio opens

Four people, mostly to serve European clients in their own timezone and language.

2021
Server-side tracking becomes standard

After a year of arguing with attribution reports, we made it non-negotiable on every build.

2023
The hundredth WordPress build ships

And the plugin audit becomes a fixed step in every proposal.

2025
Pods replace account management

The structural change clients notice most. Nobody has asked us to reverse it.

2026
318 engagements, 38 people

$284M of client revenue influenced, and still no percentage-of-spend billing.

Where we are

Two studios, one calendar.

Portland and Amsterdam overlap by four hours a day, which is when the fortnightly reviews happen.

Reviews

What it is like to work with us.

Having design, development and media in one standup killed about six hours of coordination a week. That alone paid for the difference in fee.
Daniel Okafor CEO, Fieldstone Insurance
They turned down our first brief and told us why in writing. We came back nine months later with a better one and they were right about all of it.
Sofia Ricci Founder, Vela Skincare
The people in the pitch were the people on the calls for eighteen months. I have never had that from an agency of this size.
Priya Nair CMO, Northgate Legal
They published a case study about us that included the month things went backwards. That is why I send them referrals.
