PCS Rental

The challenge

Events and busy work sites in Tampa need power, cooling and clean restrooms, and PCS Rental supplies all three. Its customers range from event planners to site supervisors in many different industries.

These buyers are practical. They want to confirm straight away that the company has the right equipment, see that it is real, and reach someone quickly, often while standing on a job site with only a phone. The website needed to deliver that without clutter.

Our approach

Our first decision was to show the company's own gear. The top of the homepage names what PCS Rental offers beside an image of one of its trailer-mounted generators, and a contact strip just below lists the phone number for calls or texts and the street address.

We gave cooling units, generators and restroom trailers each a section that alternates image and text, then followed with a checklist of the sectors served, from leisure venues to heavy industry. Navy and yellow come straight from the company logo, and all photos show equipment working on actual jobs.

Behind the homepage sit separate pages for each rental line, a catalog link in the main menu, a blog and a map showing the company's Tampa yard. On phones, every section keeps image above text, and a call button stays in the header.

The results

Event managers and site crews can now see the actual equipment, check whether their industry is covered and call the company without scrolling back up. The rental line pages, online catalog, map and a footer offering free estimates were all working when the site went live.
