The challenge

For decades Jarvis International has supplied security guards, investigators and counter-surveillance sweeps to private clients and U.S. government agencies. Because so much of that work is confidential, the site could not lean on detailed case stories to prove its worth.

It had to present the firm as a serious name in security intelligence, build trust with facts a visitor could confirm, and keep recruitment visible, since a guard company is hiring almost all the time.

Our approach

Trust came before detail in our plan. Service sections alternate down the page, followed by a grid of investigative work that ranges from intellectual property matters to workers' compensation fraud. The firm's state licence number is printed in plain view, and job seekers get their own red recruitment link at the top.

Charcoal backgrounds carry red accents drawn from the globe logo. The photography is quiet and practical, showing a guard at a bank of monitors, a long camera lens and CCTV cameras on a wall. The WordPress build brings together the service sections, a row of client testimonials, a short contact form and a map pinned to the office. On small screens the main headline stays easy to read against a dimmed skyline, while the logo takes the whole top row and the menu and jobs link drop to a second line.

The results

Much like the firm, the finished site is calm and easy to check. The licence line and testimonials from named clients carry the persuasion instead of big adjectives. Clients can review services and reach the office through the form or map, and applicants find the hiring route in the header.
