Energy IP

Energy IP owns a patented product for sealing well perforations before re-fracturing, so our team built a WordPress site that puts demonstration video first.

The challenge

Energy IP's business rests on a single patented product that seals perforations in a well so it can be fractured again. Oil and gas operators need to understand how it works, and a material that swells inside a wellbore is hard to picture from text alone.

The company also sells related products and wanted room to add online sales later. The site needed to make the core technology the first thing visitors notice, back it with product facts and still present the wider service offer clearly.

Our approach

Video takes the most prominent spot. A how-it-works section with two embedded demonstrations comes right after the opening banner, followed by services, a row of products and a set of proof points. A store link sits in the menu, ready for future ecommerce.

The visual language borrows from oilfield equipment: condensed navy capitals, safety orange buttons and dividers, and a services grid in which one card is filled orange and another black to break up a quick scan. A black bar above the logo names the technology.

Our team built the site on WordPress with round counters for key facts, such as being made by hand in the USA, weather resistance and the breech size it is rated for, plus side-by-side explainer columns for two supporting products, sharing buttons and a control that returns to the top. On phones the two main calls to action stack at full width below the headline.

The results

Energy IP now has a WordPress site where operators can see the technology in action, not only read about it. The dark footer carries the Mustang, Oklahoma contact details and quick links to each product, and the store menu item leaves space for selling online when the company is ready.
